Michael T. Willis is the Founding Attorney of Willis Law Group LLC and has been practicing law for over 25 years. He is admitted to both the New Jersey Bar and the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Willis attended The Ohio State University and Seton Hall University before earning his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2001.

Mr. Willis began his legal career as a Special Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, where he handled litigation matters including, but not limited to, fraud, theft of services, and other major crimes. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the New Jersey Bar Association.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Willis has represented clients in numerous New Jersey counties in areas including Estate Planning, Elder Law, Asset Protection, Medicaid Crisis Planning, and Medicaid Preplanning, as well as related family law matters. Today, he devotes the majority of his practice to Estate and Elder Law, with a mission centered on compassionate client service and achieving the best possible outcomes for each individual and family he serves. His extensive litigation background and comprehensive understanding of these fields form the foundation of Willis Law Group’s commitment to excellence.

Lauren serves as the Senior Leader of the Medicaid Department at Willis Law Group LLC. Over the past four years, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, precision, and commitment to excellence in her work. Known for her meticulous approach and strong organizational skills, Lauren plays a vital role in guiding her team and ensuring each client receives thorough and personalized assistance throughout the Medicaid planning process.

Skye serves as the Estate Planning Team Leader at Willis Law Group LLC, where she concentrates on elder law and estate planning matters. A graduate of The College of New Jersey, she holds a degree in Journalism and Professional Writing with minors in Law, Politics, Philosophy, and Communication Studies. Skye brings a unique blend of analytical skill and communication expertise to her role, strengthened by her prior experience at the New Jersey State House. A native of Passaic County, New Jersey, she leads her team with professionalism, precision, and a deep commitment to client service.

Nina Aleksandria is an internationally trained legal professional with experience across the United States, Europe, and Georgia, specializing in banking, corporate, and international law. She has obtained a Masters in Banking and Financial Law at Boston University School of Law and holds an LL.M. in International and European Law from the Universiteit van Amsterdam, where she researched state energy policy compliance under the Paris Agreement. Her professional background includes roles at the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, UNStudio, and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), where she advised on international contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Nina brings a global perspective and practical approach to navigating complex legal frameworks in both public and private sectors.

Chloe serves as a Paralegal with Willis Law Group LLC, focusing on Medicaid planning and elder law within the firm’s Elder Law practice. A native of Bergen County, she brings both local insight and a strong academic foundation to her work. Chloe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in Criminal Justice and earned her Paralegal Certification from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
